About Me

A Brief Introduction

I'm Mateo Florsheim, a freshman at Northeastern University Oakland studying Business Administration and Data Science with a concentration in Finance. I've been actively managing my personal portfolio since 2018 and studying quantitative trading systems since 2020.

My work sits at the intersection of finance, data science, and technology. I build Python-based trading models, research machine learning applications in markets, and advise individuals in unprofessional environments; all while pursuing a Private Pilot's License on the side. I plan on continuing my journey by working on personal real-world projects, conducting research forex markets with Archimedes Club, and learning new skills like C++ and data scraping to further my trading and technical capabilities.
